Interpretation and Definitions
Words with initial capital letters have meanings defined under the following conditions and apply equally whether terms appear in singular or plural.
- Application: The CrystalRoom software program, available for Apple Vision Pro.
- Company: Referred to as "we," "us," or "our" — Krida LLC, based in Colorado, U.S.A.
- Data Controller: For GDPR purposes, Krida LLC is the Data Controller.
- Device: Any Apple Vision Pro device that accesses the Application.
- Personal Data: Any information that identifies or can be used to identify an individual.
- Service: Refers to the Application.
- You: The individual accessing or using the Service.
Collecting and Using Your Personal Data
CrystalRoom does not collect, store, or transmit any Personal Data. No account creation or authentication is required to use the app. All crystal structure data is either bundled with the app or loaded locally from files you provide on your own device.
We do not operate any servers that receive data from the app. There are no analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking frameworks integrated into CrystalRoom.
In-App Purchases
CrystalRoom does not currently offer consumer in-app purchases. CIF Import is available through institutional licensing agreements. If an institutional license arrangement is established, any associated billing is handled directly between Krida LLC and the institution — Krida LLC does not collect individual payment information from end users.
Locally Stored Data
CrystalRoom may store your preferences (such as display settings and the last-opened structure) locally on your device using standard visionOS storage mechanisms. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted anywhere. It is deleted when you uninstall the app.
Retention of Your Personal Data
Since CrystalRoom does not collect Personal Data, no data retention policy applies on our end. Local preferences are retained on your device until you delete the app.
Security
Because no Personal Data is collected or transmitted, there is no associated data security risk from our application. Your crystal structure files (CIF files) are processed entirely on your device and are never sent to our servers.
Your Rights under the GDPR
Since CrystalRoom does not process or transmit Personal Data, no GDPR data management actions are required on our part. For users in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, your privacy is fully respected — we simply have no data to manage.
Children's Privacy
CrystalRoom does not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 13. The app collects no data from any user regardless of age. CrystalRoom is rated 4+ on the App Store and is suitable for all audiences.
Third-Party Services
CrystalRoom does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No external data is transmitted from the app during normal use.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes are effective when posted at this URL. We encourage you to check this page occasionally. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
