Deleting your account

The fastest way to delete your BeachBaskit account is through the in-app option:

Account → Request Account Deletion

Before we process your request, your account must have no active orders, no open disputes, and no pending payouts or refunds. Deletion may be delayed until these items are resolved.

What happens when your account is deleted:

Processing time: up to 72 hours. Note: a 3-day cooldown applies between cancelling a deletion request and submitting a new one.

Where is BeachBaskit available?
BeachBaskit is currently available in Miami Beach, Florida. We plan to expand to additional beach destinations over time. Check the app for the latest service area updates.
What items can I buy or sell?
Currently supported categories include beach umbrellas, beach chairs, and beach toys. We may expand categories over time. Prohibited items include anything illegal, dangerous, alcohol, tobacco, weapons, or counterfeit goods.
How does matching work?
When you post a request (as buyer or seller), BeachBaskit automatically matches you with the nearest available counterpart based on your item type, quantity, location, and time window. You don't browse listings — the match comes to you.
How do payments work?
All payments are processed through Stripe, Inc. Buyers pay securely through the app. Sellers receive payouts to their connected Stripe account. BeachBaskit may charge a platform fee on each transaction. Never pay or accept payment outside the app.
What if there's a problem with an item?
Buyers should inspect items at handoff before confirming the transaction. If there's an issue, you can open a dispute through the app. Submit your case with photos and any relevant chat logs. BeachBaskit will review and decide the outcome, which may include a full or partial refund.
Can I cancel a transaction?
Cancellation windows and consequences are defined in our policies. Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in limited access, delayed payouts, or account suspension. We maintain cancellation logs to protect all users and the integrity of the platform.
Is it safe to meet a stranger?
BeachBaskit includes a reputation system and in-app chat so no personal contact info is exchanged. All meetups are your responsibility — we recommend meeting in public, busy beach areas and exercising standard common sense. BeachBaskit does not supervise meetups.
How do I request a refund?
Refunds are handled through the in-app dispute process. If a dispute is resolved in your favor, refunds are processed through Stripe back to your original payment method. Timing depends on Stripe and your bank. BeachBaskit does not process refunds outside the dispute system.
I can't sign in — what should I do?
Try signing out and back in with your Google or Apple account. Make sure you're using the same sign-in method you registered with. If the issue persists, email support@beachbaskit.com with your account email and device details.
How do I report a user?
You can report inappropriate behavior through the app or by emailing support@beachbaskit.com. Include as much detail as possible — screenshots of chat, order ID, and a description of what happened. We take reports seriously and take enforcement action where warranted.
